3 good things this weekend

Yesterday I received a FaceTime call from M. We mostly discussed Beeny Boos and I had to decide which of her ‘raries’ is my favourite. (The turtle for anyone who’s interested). She had me in stitches.

I discovered Stranger Things on Netflix and have managed to get through the entire first series.

Berwick is a little better, or at least he is not falling over. He has regained his balance. His head is still lopsided but he seems ok otherwise. He is quite deaf so the fireworks in the run up to the weekend didn’t bother him. He is refusing to go out at the moment though.

Real Time Sticky Notes

Image of Tweet

I love sticky notes, I love working with other people and I also love working visually. Yesterday Lisette shared this Tweet by Kasia about Retrotool.io which right now is a simple, free, virtual sticky note tool. I love how it works at the moment – there is no login, you can use a couple of templates or set up your own and I think that the voting and prioritisation is great.

I am looking forward to taking part in four events during the Leeds Digital Festival. Two are Festival Events and two are fringe events – all four are sold out. I look forward to sharing what I learned after each. Follow @LeedsDigiFest & #LeedsDigi17

Thinking Digital Conference 2015

Last week (19th to 21st May 2015) I attended my first Thinking Digital Conference in Gateshead.

It has been over a week since I returned and I still have not completely processed all of the sessions and the inspiration from the event.  I am watching the recordings of the live stream from the website to pick up on all of the interesting insights and turn them into actions.

A few highlights for me then:
